Policy Work

Alongside my academic research, I contribute to policy-oriented work on macroeconomic developments and the economic outlook. This work draws on empirical evidence, professional expertise, and modern forecasting methods to produce forecasts for the global economy, the euro area, and the German economy for the current and following year. Specifically, since autumn 2021, I have been contributing to forecasts of gross value added.
